A new season means fresh, redesigned marketing strategies to keep up with current trends across all industries. As businesses reopen and bounce back, strong marketing is more important than ever. Whether that’s a strong content feed, targeted paid ads, influencer marketing, or any other advertising medium, stay up-to-date with what’s trending.

It’s time to do some product spring cleaning! If certain products or services haven’t been profitable or performing well, it’s time to leave those behind and bring something new to the table. An advantage of e-commerce is the constant access consumers have to your products and are only a couple of clicks away from buying your product or service. But are you maximizing that benefit? According to Hubspot, 71% of consumers are more likely to purchase from a brand based on social media referrals. If you don’t have an active social presence, you’re missing out on a lot of new customers and revenue.

Social Media

It’s no surprise that having a social media presence is essential these days. But do you have a STRONG social media presence? To bolster your marketing efforts, user-generated content can pack a punch. “User-generated content (UGC) is created by customers or users, not by the brand” (Crowdspring.com). UGC is your influencers and customers independently promoting your brand through non-paid advertising. If your budget is limited, UGC has the potential to make for some pro-bono marketing.

At the same time, the media you own and control needs to be cohesive and visually appealing. As spring rolls in, give your feed a boost of energy. It’s the season of renewal after a long winter, so find ways to add a little spice and incorporate bright colors, new themes, and promotions. As you refresh your content, make sure you don’t stray away from what makes sense for your business; the goal is to compliment your brand, not abandon it.

Personalization & Technology

Consumers have come to expect a hyper-tailored approach. A year ago, most shopping was still done in-store. Now, it’s as simple as curbside pickup. When it comes to online interaction, artificial intelligence (AI) is the future of marketing. AI helps deliver fast, accurate, personalized content straight to your customers. Additionally, it’ll supply you with data, sources, and references so you can optimize your marketing efforts.

Ultimately, the key is to never be complacent in your marketing efforts. It’s a new season with new trends. If you need some inspiration, C Squared Social can help you optimize your sales, refresh your brand, and reimagine marketing.
